Over 50% of American adults have seriously considered starting their own business according to recent research released by 1 & 1 Internet, Inc. 20% of those surveyed had considered starting a side business in addition to their existing job to increase household income. Other motivating factors included a better work / life balance, the opportunity to be their own boss and a passion for a particular hobby.

According to the 2015 Kauffman Index, more entrepreneurs launched their own businesses last year in what is the largest year-over-year increase in the past 20 years.

The entrepreneurial spirit has proven its strength and staying power within the past few years, and it only has room to grow. More companies are utilizing technology as a means to stay ahead of the curve and moving their businesses online.
